Kindle Academy leadership strives to provide the best educational materials available to our students. To achieve that goal, our teachers are encouraged to review curriculum from many different publishers and select the materials with the finest content that work optimally in our cyber environment. Our students are immersed in a curriculum rich in both literature, history, science and mathematics. Our goal is to "Kindle" a love of learning in our students that will burn bright into adulthood.

Our curriculum meets and in many cases EXCEEDS Florida state standards and materials are selected from multiple publishers: Sonlight, Glencoe, Harcourt, Holt, Houghton Mifflin, Macmillan/McGraw-Hill, and Saxon to name a few. Students receive physical textbooks, storybooks and novels and, in many cases, access to the curriculum online. Special kits are provided for our art and science courses. Additionally, our courses utilize the fullest extent of supplemental educational resources available on the Internet.

Our curriculum materials serve as the foundation at Kindle, but the greatest strength of this curriculum resides with the teachers who work with this material - they develop their own unique courses, deliver instruction, make and grade assignments and interact with each student individually on a daily basis. After reading about our courses, you may wish to meet the teachers and staff who will play an important roll in your child’s education.

Kindle Academy will afford your child a unique education. While meeting all basic subject and skill requirements our students will also branch out into individualized areas of study. Each semester students will be given the opportunity to choose those electives that best represent their interests. The choices are limitless. Some past choices have been robotics, cooking, Paleontology, guitar & piano lessons, languages, and engineering. Students will be given guidance and resources necessary to immerse themselves in their elective of choice.
